No there is no audition to join the choir. Everyone is welcome.
We rehearse Monday night's 6.30pm - 8.30pm at the Mundaring Uniting Church, 120 Stoneville Road, Mundaring.
No. Whilst reading music does make it easier to learn new music, it is not essential. We go over the music many times and you will be able to pick it up by listening. We also create a playlist each semester with the songs on it so you can listen and practice at home.
No, there is no limit on age, young or old (currently our oldest member is 92 years old). However applicants under 16 years of age may join as Associates and then may be granted full membership after their 16th birthday. The fees will reflect this. Any member under the age of 16 must have an adult stay with them during rehearsals and concerts.
Yes there is an annual membership fee of $280. This covers all your sheet music, staff payments and hiring of venues etc.
We perform 2 concerts a year. One in winter and one at the end of the year. We also often have extra performances on request throughout the year.
